# Engaging Tales from ILLUMINATION Publications: Nostalgia Unveiled

Written on

Chapter 1: Rediscovering Hidden Gems

Greetings, fellow readers and devoted Friends of Medium! My mission in publishing and curation is to uncover captivating narratives that have been overlooked. To date, I've assembled 58 collections, providing a plethora of reading choices. Over the weekend, we welcomed over 150 new writers. Feel free to explore their profiles and connect with them if their work resonates.

Today, the ILLUMINATION Curators have showcased our standout stories from February 2024. These exceptional tales promise to captivate you.

Yesterday, Dr. Yildiz conducted an insightful interview with Shirley Willett, a respected veteran in the field.

Additionally, he introduced another seasoned writer, Dr. David Mokotoff, MD, whose informative and humorous tales I thoroughly enjoy.

I've gathered intriguing interviews with various writers and compiled them into a single post for your convenience. These conversations are rich with life lessons and insights.

Aiden has curated a treasure trove of our highlighted stories, filled with literary jewels.

He has also spotlighted the boosted narratives of Jozsef Kovacs as part of his educational initiative. I recall he featured a few others at the conclusion of his last collection.

Just the day before, he shared the boosted stories of Dr. Joan Naidorf.

Recently, he penned a fascinating piece about his new love, SORA, which he believes has the potential to revolutionize the film industry. I’m eager to try it myself, as I'm not particularly skilled in video production.

A quick update: our new newsletter is now live on Medium and has also been shared on Substack for our subscribers.

You might want to read Dr. Mehmet Yildiz's open letter directed at non-members. He pointed out that a significant portion of our readership consists of non-contributors, and his observations are both insightful and relatable.

As Aiden focuses on new narratives, I delve into older collections to provide readers with a sense of nostalgia. I also integrate new stories from my daily explorations, or occasionally, editors recommend exceptional pieces to include. Each story is a unique gem deserving of your time. I encourage you to engage with these narratives and share them on social media to extend their reach.

I attempted to follow many writers I hadn’t encountered before, but the system restricted me after a certain point. I discovered that I can only follow 150 writers daily, so I’ll continue this endeavor another day.

Aiden's Curated Collections

Here’s his latest collection, which marks his 83rd compilation, consistently uncovering hidden treasures.

I compiled a list of the boosted stories I read last month, along with my reflections, highlighting common themes across these remarkable narratives. There’s truly something for everyone, as these well-crafted tales span various topics and styles.

Recently, I also penned two short stories to keep my creativity flowing: Her Son Saw Her in the Shower and The Sky Was Falling Down.

By the way, Aiden produced a beautiful piece today that resonated with me deeply. I’m sure you’ll appreciate his poignant story titled Finding Comfort in Blocks: How Minecraft Eased My First Time Loneliness and Intense Grief at 17.

Recent Developments

Not long ago, Dr. Yildiz had one of his stories critiqued by an expert due to its lackluster performance. I found his narrative insightful, but the mentor's feedback didn’t completely align with my understanding. Based on my experience, regardless of the style we adopt, our readers often don’t have the opportunity to engage with them. I wonder if other writers share this sentiment. I expressed my thoughts in a piece titled I Had My Content Earnestly Reviewed by an Expert, and Here's What I Learned.

Aiden and I maintain communication with Dr. Yildiz, who is currently occupied with various administrative responsibilities, including onboarding 130 new writers. Nonetheless, he continues to exude positivity and has shared intriguing stories from his personal life, detailing how he manages publications with assistance from 148 volunteer editors. His insights may provide you with valuable perspectives on our collective challenges.

In A Rollercoaster of My Saturday: Challenges, Surprises, and Joyful Insights, he also shared a critical narrative about money and its potential to breed discontent. His views on materialism align closely with mine, emphasizing altruism and gratitude.

Unfortunately, my account has been duplicated for the fifth time, creating further challenges for my readers. I voiced my frustrations in a recent story. The scammers employed sophisticated tactics to further confuse my audience, initially impersonating me before changing the account name. However, I managed to locate and report them. This new narrative offers insights into their strategies and advice on safeguarding your accounts.

I encourage you to share this information widely; together, we can combat these scammers and thwart their fraudulent actions. Your support is essential in this joint effort. Just a day prior, Dr. Yildiz's account was cloned for the third time, and he provided useful guidance on how to navigate this issue.

If you missed my previous collection, you can find it here. Enjoy my favorite stories and some nominated pieces from ILLUMINATION Publications today.
