Embracing Timelessness: Understanding Our Fear and Freedom

Written on

Chapter 1: The Dance with Time

In the series "Mastering the Human Dance with Time," we explore the profound interplay between your timeless essence and the mortality of your physical self. You have transformed the void of nothingness into a vibrant everything.

Feeling trapped or lost often stems from fear. The reality is that there are no barriers; you are inherently free. The mere sensation of imprisonment reveals the potency of fear as an illusion. By recognizing that everything is an illusion, we can understand that there is no true 'wrongness' in what is perceived. Thus, we realize, “The fact that we can feel imprisoned shows how powerful fear is.”

Humans naturally gravitate towards comfort zones, creating them as protective cocoons. Yet, these zones, despite their comforting nature, are molded by our fears. They represent a state of security against what we dread.

Without fear, there would be no need for a comfort zone.

Consider how we impose structure and order in our lives by channeling our energy. We allow our passions to guide the flow of life, yet we often let our fears dictate its direction. Over time, we have evolved complex ‘structures of self’ that reflect both collective and individual fears, shaping the human experience.

At the core of our existence lies a timeless flow, untouched by fear. Imagine a branching tree of timelines; the central trunk represents this flow. In a river, it is the swift, unobstructed current. Here, surrendering to the flow, free from the urge to control reality, leads to a more serene human experience.

As we deviate from this central flow and navigate the tributaries formed by fear—by trying to halt progress or evade what we dread—the flow becomes obstructed, leading to feelings of entrapment and limitation.

Visualize vast, energetic cities of human entrapment; instead of viewing them as failures, see them as remarkable achievements. How powerful is it to construct such dams across the river of existence? How extraordinary is it for the infinitely free to experience confinement?

We have tempered the speed of light.

We are uncovering the unknown.

We are bringing awareness to the unconscious through this journey.

We embody the flow.

We shape our sense of self.

We are not merely attempting to manipulate this sense of self; we are exploring its potential.

When we resist, we create time. Within you lies a timeless essence. You are crafting time for your eternal self to experience. You are creating mortality for your eternal self to explore. You are manifesting solidity for your non-physical self to engage with. You are generating sound to be heard. You are producing light to be seen. You are establishing a self to inhabit. You are evoking emotions to experience—both joyful and painful.

No one is subjected to limitations in the timeless flow. The essence of who you are is free and unobstructed. Your core moves with the current. It knows no pain, suffering, confinement, separation, loss, or singular focus. You are the one who has harnessed this timeless flow and transformed it into a temporal experience. You have taken the essence of freedom and allowed it to feel pain, suffering, confinement, separation, and loss.

You have taken that which was nothing and made it everything.

You are the architect of your experiences.

You have created it all, and it all exists as a unified creation. You cannot isolate one part from another. You cannot select only certain aspects. You cannot accept partial responsibility. Every part is interconnected.

This truth applies to you as well. You must embrace and love your entire self; otherwise, true self-love is unattainable.

This insight reveals a pathway out of suffering. Pain is an inevitable aspect of being human, but suffering is not (though everyone experiences it to some extent). Suffering arises from the belief that you are trapped in your pain. It is the conviction that escape is impossible. It is the notion that you bear an indelible mark of negativity. It is the belief that you are flawed. It is the assumption that you deserve punishment. It is the thought that change is unattainable.

Your future will include pain, but you do not have to identify with it. We often cling to our pain in our quest to comprehend it, but all we need to do is permit ourselves to feel it. That is where true understanding lies.

Each of us resides within a framework of fear; some of our self-structures are intricate and remarkable vessels of consciousness. Some may perceive their existence as a prison of fear, while it could equally be viewed as a palace.

Seek to understand your boundaries.

Examine the walls that form your comfort zones. What do these walls keep at bay? Why do they provide comfort? What discomfort do they shield you from? Can you envision a way to reshape your self-structure that excites you?

This journey isn’t solely about dismantling walls. It is not inherently better to lack boundaries. However, it is liberating to comprehend your boundaries so that they do not confine you, leading to repeated frustrations. Recognizing that walls create spaces can be beneficial. They delineate the rooms and pathways in our lives. Understanding the purpose of these walls allows for a smoother passage through life, preventing unnecessary pain as we reach our destinations. This understanding is akin to truly knowing oneself.

Those who lack self-awareness inhabit a space where the boundaries are unclear. When we fail to understand our fears, we inadvertently hurt ourselves by encountering painful situations. While all boundaries stem from fear, the ones we consciously acknowledge are like the walls of our homes—they help us navigate the experiences we desire.

To know your fears is to avoid walking blindly into them and suffering the consequences.

A person who constantly collides with their own walls struggles with self-identity. They may wonder, “What is wrong with me? Why do I keep causing myself pain? Why do I self-sabotage?” However, once they gain insight into themselves and the boundaries that shape their identity, they can navigate their life without fear of hitting a wall. They will coexist with the same boundaries they once despised, yet now those very walls provide a structure that feels comfortable because it is understood.

This illustrates the process of transcending suffering. Those who suffer frequently encounter their own walls. They may feel confused by this pattern or find themselves trapped within their confines. To escape suffering is not to obliterate the walls but to understand them.

What seemed like total confinement was merely a maze with a clear exit.

Fully understanding yourself means comprehending the maze that is your identity. Once a maze is familiar, it ceases to be a maze; it becomes a navigable pattern.

There is no need to alter the maze of your identity. Your identity is perfect as it is. You are free to adjust and reposition your walls, but you do not have to change any boundaries to discover the essence of freedom. Your identity is a house, and it is your home. Love yourself to uncover your pattern. Love yourself to embrace the maze of your being as a magnificent, energetic design. Shift your perspective on what it means to be human.
